Just played through the new version and I must say that I’m very impressed with what has been done! Playing the game on easy seems more like a normal Mega Man difficulty which is more in line with the official games. I got through the original version and boy that was difficult! It’s good to keep the original an option however so that players can feel a need for a good challenge!

Megaphilx and crew, thanks so much for this great game! The dedication your team puts into this project as well as listening to the feedback is incredible and should be commended! I am glad there are people out there like you guys who want to keep the Blue Bomber alive because Capcom doesn’t seem to care anymore. For that, I am grateful!

Now just work on making a playable Bass and Protoman and this game is freaking awesome. Seriously nice job with this game. It’s probably one of my favorite ever MM games.

Thanks for the hard work! How and where were the stages changed based on feedback? Would be interesting to see a before and after.

I beat the game with the 1.0.2 version already before, so I probably will stick to that next time too, now that I already beat it I can say “checkpoints before Castle bosses” are for noobs :-P

But great to see how you listen to feedback and react so quickly :-)

As Gamescook said, this needs playable Proto and Bass, too much cool characters and they all are NPCs.

Someone really needs to do a game styled after Megaman Powered Up. Would be really cool to have a Robot Museum Intro Stage but not like the crappy one in Megaman and Bass. The Robot Museum Stage in Megaman 7 is great. Would be cool also to see Wily break in and steal another Robot Master besides GutsMan. Plus a different track mashup of other Robot Masters.

7. RandomGuy - August 22, 2013

Here’s a really bad example of what I’m talking about:

This mash together goes in the same kind of order Megaman 7 Robot Museum does. It goes Robot Master 1 intro, Robot Master 2, Robot Master 3, Robot Master 1 bridge, Robot Master 2.

Instead of Snake Man, Guts Man, Heat Man, Snake Man, Guts Man I went with Needle Man, Chill Man, Plug Man, Needle Man, Chill Man. It doesn’t fit together well at all but meh I suppose I tried.

Also it leaves to wonder. Guts Man has the second piece in the Robot Museum tune. So according to the mock up I made, I guess that would mean Dr Wily would grab Chill Man and then make an upgraded model. Chill Man C or something,

On another note Megaman Unlimited runs on Ubuntu VIA Crossover Linux and actually quite well:

Did you fix that glitch that occurs on a Double KO in the Castle stages?

More specifically, I discovered that by accident yesterday. When I was re-fighting Glue Man, I killed him with his weakness just as he rammed into me.

When the boss teleporter room reloaded (i.e. next life came up), instead of Mega Man appearing in the usual spot, I saw just a bit of his teleportation frame, and the next minute I knew, Beat was flying in to try and “rescue” him from underneath the bottom right of the screen.

Try as I might, I couldn’t bring Mega Man back into the room, and watched helplessly as Beat foolishly tried, time and time again, until I lost all 9 Beat Savers (and another life).

After that, things went normally; Mega Man teleported in correctly, and Glue Man’s capsule was broken. But I couldn’t accept that glitch, so I restarted my save.

Anyone else encountered this?
