You have definitely put your heart and soul to pay tribute to the old Mega Man games while putting so much originality into it. Well done. Perhaps Capcom might even hire you to put Mega Man Unlimited as part of the main series and have you develop Mega Man 11.

I noticed a couple Mega Man 2 references in Whirlpool Man’s stage as well. The seahorse enemies act very similar to the lobster enemies from Bubble Man’s stage, and the giant jumping fish remind me of those from MM2 Wily Stage 3.
